Dad’s Big Catch

Dad caught a 5lb Smallmouth Bass while fishing next to the Ms and Grandpa. He claims to have given them the “1st” chance.

The kids were excited to see what was in its belly.

WOW! That was one big bass....and no wonder, look what was in his tummy!

We never eat bass. Do you have a special way of cooking them, Tina?

Hmmmm, they must be homeschoolers to dissect the fish and see what is in its belly. Yep, learning at its best!

Now that is impresive! Kennedy was very excited to catch her first bass this past week when we were in MI. Not quite as big as Craigs, 14 inches, but she was thrilled. In fact, she wants to mount it! Pretty funny!

wow...pretty impressive! I showed this to my husband, Korey, and he was even jealous! He spent the day fishing on the Flambeau River and didn't even come up with anything as good. :)I think the stomach is gross, though...I hope all homeschooling parent's don't have to do that...I might have to rethink homeschooling! ;)

I cook all fish the same way. . dipped in butter and rolled heavily in a bread crumb/parmesan cheese mixture :)

Craig loves to fish in his free time, so he probably has fished more this summer than Kennedy. .

Jenni, I can't say that dissecting the fish is a homeschool thing . . . more of a boy/dad thing ;) but it counts LOL.

Wow! That is one big fish! And, ick! I don't think I wanted to know what he had eaten, I'm more interested in eating him!
